2012 Annual Meeting Notice

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the annual meeting of the 870 Inman Community Association will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 7:00 PM, in the 870 Inman Clubroom. We anticipate the meeting to last less than one hour.

870 Inman is giving members notice of this meeting at the date set forth above, which serves and fulfills the required twenty-one day (21) day notification of the Annual Meeting.

We are delivering a copy of the proposed operating budget for 2013 along with a copy of the annual fees by unit. The Board of Directors has worked closely with Management in developing a budget taking into account current operating expense levels, the age and condition of the physical structure and equipment, and delivery of services to be consistent with the quality of the building. The resulting budget provides for total operating expenses of $405,530 which has been approved by the Board of Directors.

Please note that this meeting is for the specific purpose of the 2013 Budget review in addition to electing 2 board members. Questions regarding individual units should be directed to Kristy Cowell.

Nominations (self or otherwise) will be accepted before or at the meeting, but we encourage you to send us a short biography to nominate@870inman.com if you’re interested in running. These will be distributed before the meeting.

If you are unable to attend the annual meeting, or are unsure about whether you will be able to attend, please complete the enclosed proxy form and return it to Kristy Cowell. You may also place it in the drop box located inside the lobby. If you provide a proxy and attend the meeting, we will return your proxy to you at the meeting. We must establish a quorum to conduct business at the meeting, so it is important for you to attend or to provide a proxy. The quorum requirement for this meetings is 27 members or proxies.

Please note that the homeowners who are shown on the Associations’s books or records as more than 30 days past due in assessments or charges will be ineligible to vote or to run for a seat on the Board of Directors. To verify that you are in good standing or that you are shown as the owner on the Associations’s records, please contact the property manager, Kristy Cowell.
